Gotta Love It

We had an excellent time in the park with our Open Fitness Event this past Sunday. You gotta love the little ol' ladies that jump in and train with us. We were less of a spectacle this week and got down to some serious exercise.

Gail did a great job of stretching us out with some Gail Yoga and helping us cool down the same way at the end. We completed two sets of circuit rotations that had the sweat, calories, and fat melting off of everyone!

Open Fitness This Sunday

Our second Open Fitness event will take place this Sunday morning at Yuexiu Park in Guangzhou from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Directions:

MTR Blue line 2 towards Sanyuanli http://www.urbanrail.net/as/guan/guangzhou.htm

Yuexiu Park MTR Subway Station Exit B1, If you are looking at the road from the exit, turn Right and walk down the sidewalk. The Front Entrance of Yuexiu will be on your right.

Buy your park ticket (5 RMB). Enter the park and turn LEFT. Walk over the footbridge and along the path. You will see our group on your right. It is about a four minute walk from the park entrance to the area where we work out.

The workout (will start about 9:10 after setup and late comers arrive):

1. 10 mins of Gail Yoga
2. 20 mins of exercises
3. 20 minute fitness team-building challenge
4. 10 mins of Gail yoga

My wife, Lily made me a delicious meal tonight that is pretty lean and healthy, so at the last minute I thought I would be helpful and send this to you.

Guiltless Lamb Stir Fry

Total Preparation Time: Under 20 Minutes

Serves: 2-3 People (Double recipe for larger parties)

Ingredients:

300 Grams Thin-Sliced Lamb or Fatty Beef

3 Large Spicy Green Peppers

1/2 Red Onion

5 Cloves Fresh Garlic

3 CM section of Fresh Ginger

Ground Black Pepper

Ground Cumin (optional)

1tsp Almond Butter (may substitute: Finely Crushed almonds, organic peanut butter, or sesame butter)

Soy Sauce

2 Cups uncooked Brown Rice

Prep (approx 10 mins):

1. Wash the brown rice, and cook it in a rice cooker. Add about 40% more water than you use for white rice to make the rice fluffy.

2. Remove the seeds from the peppers. Crush and peel the garlic. Wash and coarsely chop the onion, green peppers, and ginger. Mix all into a bowl and set it aside.

3. Pour one tablespoon of soy sauce into another bowl, and add the almond butter (or substitute) and stir for one minute. Set the sauce aside.


Cooking Instructions (8 minutes):

1. Heat a dry wok over a high flame.
2. After the wok is hot, add the lamb or fatty beef. No need to oil the wok. The fat from the meat will act as cooking oil.
3. After you see the juice from the meat in the wok, add the bowl of vegetables and herbs.
4. Cook uncovered under a high flame for 3 minutes, stirring throughout the cooking process
5. After 3 minutes, add the sauce to the wok. Cook uncovered under a high flame for another 3 minutes.
6. During this 2nd 3 minutes, shake your ground cumin and black pepper over the stir-fry. Dust the food with the spices according to your preferences of spiciness.

Presentation:

Serve the stir fry over brown rice.

The Get Fit Guangzhou! program will melt the fat off of you. Whether you want to lose that stingy extra 5 pounds around your waist, or if you need a total fitness overhaul, this program is your answer. Me and my associates have personally coached hundreds of people that now have amazing success stories. We have coached Professional models, dancers, and even a Hollywood actress that lost weight so fast that a gossip magazine falsely accused her of having plastic surgery!

I do not claim to be a genius. I did not invent most of this program. This program is the combination of teachings from the top personal trainers in Southern California, seminars on health and nutrition, careful study of kinetic science, hundreds of books and articles that I have studied over the last several years. Much of this program is derived from my own personal experience in losing weight. I see NO point in harming your health in order to achieve a “look” of fitness. You want to look healthy, so pop this pill that harms your liver, maybe that will work! Makes sense, eh? I thought it made sense at one time in my life. I was wrong. Everyone is a little vain, but I do not help people harm their health in order to achieve goals in appearance. Everything I teach has 2 requirements: 1. That it melts fat effectively 2. That it is healthy.

I would like to tell you about my own personal struggles with weight loss, and how an unlikely “spare-tire fat-boy” became a fat loss expert.

Before I started on my journey, my health was a mess. I was never an athlete. I didn’t even make the varsity tennis team my senior year after playing junior varsity my first 3 years of high school! My whole life, people had made fun of my walk. I walked with a slight limp, and always on my toes. No matter what I tried, I could never fix my walk. I just looked awkward. I had allergies, and it seemed every year as winter came in, I would get some variant of bronchitis.

When I became an adult, I had chronic lower back pain, knee pain, and ankle pain from old injuries. I was WAY overweight. I had a big belly, and the start of some man-boobs. I was only 24 years old, and people would guess I was 34. I felt like I was 44. I needed 8 or 9 hours of sleep a day to feel rested. If I went out at night, my energy the next day was deeply affected. My friends nick-named me “one and done” because I rarely had the energy to go out two nights in a row. It was depressing.

Now, people call me “Bullet.” I feel rested on just 6 hours of sleep. I am the last one to get a cold or the sniffles. Helping people work out, I get sweated on all the time, and I find that I simply DON’T get sick. I don’t have to take sick time from work. When I was in the “corporate world” that opened my leave for vacation and “personal days.” I no longer walk with a limp or on my toes. My ankle, knee, and lower back pain are gone! My physique is better than when I was 17. Oily skin and pimples that I had completely healed. My sex life was revolutionized. I became really effective at work. The stress affected me much less, despite more responsibility being put on my shoulders. I can’t communicate effectively how much more I enjoy life now that I have rid myself of all of that extra fat.

I started training others part time- being mentored by the personal trainer who previously had guided me through my weight-loss journey. I started helping him train his clients and we attended health related seminars together. We were always looking to make the program even more effective for our clients. Finally, I decided to quit my job in the stock market and help others change their lives full time. Now, I have brought this program to China. I have further tweaked the system specifically for those that are living and working here. There is no other program like it in Asia, and there are probably only a dozen in the world. I am always trying to improve the program with the most cutting-edge research in the industry, so the end product is a combination of old-school timeless methods, and modern science-derived techniques.

When I started this journey to reclaim my health, and look fit, I never expected to make this my profession. When I started the program, I actually expected to fail- AGAIN. Every other pill, fat loss secret, diet, etc just lead me to be the fattest I ever was. Believe me, I tried EVERY pill, fad diet, and “shortcut.” I am one of the few who lucked into having the chance to be exposed to this program. I was so deeply and profoundly affected by my transformation that I felt obliged to help those around me who constantly asked me, “How did you do that? Can you help me lose weight?” They wanted help, just like I did at one time. After I benefited so deeply from this, I could not turn others away who also suffered like I did. I see many of you out there, and I sympathize with you. I WAS you. It is my mission, my passion to share with you the immense life changing experience of attaining physical fitness.

I am going to guide you, mentor you, and motivate you into fitness. We will do it together. As my client, you will hear from me daily. I am here to badger, pester, and bother you into bettering yourself. Just kidding… I am your Coach. I will guide you to achieve your goals. No one cares as much about your success and health as I do.
